Atrium

Terms of Service

Effective July 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of Atrium (atriumreader.com). By signing in and using Atrium, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What Atrium is

Atrium is an independent reading application. You save passages and links, and it reads them aloud using text-to-speech. It is offered as-is and may change over time.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Atrium.

Your content

You keep ownership of the passages, links and other content you add to Atrium. You grant us the permission needed to store, process, display and convert that content to speech for the purpose of providing the service to you (including sending text to our providers, as described in the Privacy Policy).

You are responsible for the content you add and share. You confirm that you have the right to use it, and you agree not to add or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you are not permitted to copy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Atrium for anything unlawful, or to infringe others' rights.
  • Attempt to break, overload, probe or disrupt the service or its security.
  • Access other users' data, or use the service to send unwanted messages.
  • Misuse the sharing feature to harass or spam other people.

Third-party services

Atrium relies on third-party providers (including Google, for sign-in and text-to-speech) to operate. Your use of the app is also subject to those providers' terms where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Availability and changes

Atrium is an independent project provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, or the whole service, at any time. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atrium and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

Ending your use

You can stop using Atrium and delete your account at any time from Settings, under Account. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe harms the service or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top, and we will notify you by email in advance of any significant change. Continuing to use Atrium after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Brazil, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
